πŸ‚Hello Fall - Autumn Colored Flowers

Hello, Fall!

Hello everyone and welcome

I have a card to share with you that I made for Altenew Educator's Instagram hop !

If you haven’t checked out the Instagram hop hosted by Altenew Educators, where we’re celebrating the arrival of fall, please check out - https://www.instagram.com/p/DdthIrQPGaF/  and hop along! There’s also a fun giveaway, with five lucky winners receiving a $20 Altenew gift certificate. 🎁

For my card here, I wanted to embrace those gorgeous warm colors of fall with a simple watercoloring technique.

I used Altenew’s Autumn Harvest Watercolor Brush Markers along with the Tahitian Terrace Dual Tip Pens (sadly retired) to add color to the Darling Dahlia Layering Die Set. I love how quick and easy it is to create beautiful, variegated autumnal flowers this way! (I’ve shown the coloring process in my Reel.)

For the sentiment, I used the Creative Labels Stamp & Die Bundle, which has such beautiful, versatile sentiments and coordinating label dies.
For the background, I added lots of texture with the Weathered Bark 3D Embossing Folder. I especially love how the bark-like texture creates a wonderful contrast with the bright flowers.

And finally, I finished the card with a few Red Jasper Gem Sparkles for a touch of shine.

I hope this card inspires you to take out your watercolor brush markers and try some simple and quick coloring to create the most gorgeous colors of fall for your cards! 🍁🧑

Supplies:
• Tahitian Terrace Dual Tip Pens (sadly retired)
• Darling Dahlia Layering Die Set  πŸ‘ˆπŸ» This mini flower is soo versatile

We’re creating our own beautiful floral china teapot and teacup, and I absolutely love how the watercolor-painted paper transforms the project.
