Hello crafty friends!
Today as an Altenew Ambassador, I’m sharing a card that combines beautiful dimension with subtle background texture using some of my favorite Altenew products. This design brings together layered die-cut florals and a softly embossed background for an elegant yet easy card.
The flowers on this card were created using the Darling Dahlia Layering Die Set. I absolutely love how these dies build such full, dimensional blooms. For my flowers, I used shades of blue and violet on the petals to create depth, while the centers were cut from a warm golden cardstock to make them pop. The leaves were ink-blended in soft greens to add freshness and balance to the composition.
To give the background interest without overpowering the florals, I used the Textured Tiles 3D Embossing Folder. This embossing folder creates a beautiful mix of stone, brick, and tile patterns that add subtle dimension and visual texture to the panel.
For the focal area, I added a circle window using a nesting circle die, which creates a lovely frame for the sentiment. The opening also adds a bit of movement and layering to the design.
To finish the card, I stamped a simple greeting and added a few coordinating gems for a touch of sparkle.
