Hello there,
There's a new challenge up at Time Out challenges and this time we have a THEME challenge - Movies
Our wonderful sponsor, STAMPlorations is generously offering a $25 store credit as a prize for our Challenge Winner, who will also get an invitation to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.
I am not sure if you would have watched Polar Express - but I was in college and this movie was like a revolutionary animated movie that came in theatres - and the views, though animated were what left a great memory. Living in India and just reading about Aurora Borealis and Australis in Geography, came into reality with that movie.
I will have a Video Tutorial of this card as part of Altenew's September release video Hop-
I used the new release's Woodland silhouette stamp set and Warm cozy sentiments die set for some Eclipse technique for the sentiment.
We have kimheggins on Instagram, Cupcakes, Cards And Kim as our Guest Designer and she has an adorable card to inspire us
As an Altenew Educator, I take Free cardmaking workshops - If you would like to Join my next Free Aletenew Educator's Cardmaking workshops , check here for details

A gorgeous sky for your card Ishani! Great video showing how they are created. I really must give them a try! I hope you have a lovely day! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Northern Lights, Ishani, and that silhouette scene is the perfect stamp to accent it.
ReplyDeletePolar Express was such a wonderful movie and I love that you were inspired by that to create this gorgeous card. That background is just perfect to showcase the silhouette stamps.

Wonderful aurora sky Ishani! I too loved the Polar Express when I first shared it with my children many years ago! Tom Hanks is such a wonderful actor and the scenery was so realistic - loved the music too! If you get a chance, you might like to watch an older movie called Local Hero which features the Northern Lights and also has a fab soundtrack by Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straits) - it’s one of my favourites! Hugs, Kate!
