Quick & Easy Northern Lights Cards | Altenew September 2026 Release Video Hop

 Hello, crafty friends!

I am incredibly honored and excited to be a guest designer for Altenew’s September 2026 Release and to join the celebration with a fun Video Hop!

For today’s video, I am sharing a quick and easy way to create the magical glow of the Northern Lights.  I made two cards - using the same principle that I show in the video. This technique is simple, very doable and works beautifully with the newly released Woodland Silhouette Stamp Set. The striking woodland images create the perfect foreground for the colorful night sky!

For the sentiments, I used the new Warm and Cozy Sentiment Die Set and incorporated an eclipse die-cutting technique to give the words extra dimension while allowing them to remain beautifully connected to the background.
