A huge thank you to Irene Smith, who so generously featured my July inspiration from the Altenew vlog. Seeing her layered Oak tree design using the challenge colors was such a special moment, it turned out absolutely stunning and I’m incredibly grateful for her kindness and support. Now, about my own Card Chaos adventure... it didn't exactly go as planned! 
The live was supposed to begin at 4:30 a.m. IST, but Google insisted that 6:00 p.m. CST converted to 5:30 a.m. IST. I woke up at 3:40 am and started getting things for my son's school ready and by 4:30 am I was done and trusting Google, I happily was planning to put a fresh coat of nailpolish💅🏻when I saw a message from my friend Liz that Irene had started ! I was zapped and saw, yes she had started creating. By the time I joined, the 15-minute challenge was already well underway.
I quickly grabbed Altenew's Chateau Blooms layering stencils and started creating, but there was simply no way I could finish an entire layered card in the remaining time. Rather than rushing, I decided to just relax and finish it and I'm so glad I did!
This card features the beautiful Chateau Blooms design layered with a variety of Altenew inks to create rich teal foliage and vibrant pink blooms. I kept the layout clean with a bold "Thank You" sentiment frim Creative labels set and a few pearls, allowing the layered florals to take center stage.
Sometimes crafting doesn't go according to plan, but that's part of the fun! Even though I didn't finish within the challenge time, I still enjoyed every minute of the creative process.
