Our theme this time is "Something Blue", celebrating the versatility and beauty of blue in cardmaking. Whether you're inspired by ocean tones, soft pastels, bold navy hues, or touches of blue accents, this hop is all about exploring creative ways to incorporate blue into your projects.

For my card, I decided to use just one blue cardstock, while also challenging myself to use my supplies in an unexpected way. One of my favourite things about cardmaking is discovering fresh possibilities within products I already own, and this project was the perfect opportunity to do just that.

Instead of using a butterfly die in the traditional way, I transformed this Swallowtail butterfly die-set into a whimsical floral focal point by embellishing it with layered die-cut flowers from the Zero waste 3D floral cover-die The combination of rich blues, crisp white accents, and touches of gold creates a striking design, while the added florals give the butterfly a completely new personality.

This card is a reminder that dies don't always have to be used as intended. By mixing elements from different sets and thinking outside the die, you can create unique designs and breathe new life into supplies already in your craft room.
