   Getting More from Your Supplies with Green Meadows Gradient Cardstock

One of my favorite things in cardmaking is finding new ways to use the supplies I already have. The Green Meadows Gradient Cardstock Set is perfect for creating realistic leaves and foliage,                  but it can do so much more than that!

For this card, I turned the cardstock into a striking background by cutting it into diagonal strips and arranging them across my card panel. To add extra texture and interest, I embossed the entire background using the Pipe Floral 3D Embossing Folder, which gives those beautiful green tones even more depth and dimension.

I also had fun creating the sentiment. The large J and O were die-cut using CAPS BOLD alphabet die set, and instead of adding a traditional Y, I used an image from the Bloom with Grace Stamp & Die Set. The delicate jar filled with leafy stems cleverly takes the place of the final letter, creating a playful and artistic way to spell JOY. I always love it when an image can become part of the sentiment itself!
