A favourite card making technique

There are so many that I love, I keep going back to 3 D embossing and diecutting, the most. I love these, on their own and also when I combine them. Especially for a non - cardmaker, these techniques make them go wow, and I love to make them keep guessing :D

Who doesn't love butterflies? Altenew's Swallow tail butterfly die set has butterfies in 3 orientations - that makes it so verastile! I chose the Sun kissed blooms Embossing folder and stenci set.. and actually skipped stenciling. I used some light watercolors foe a wash on my flowers, after dry embossing a water color paper. After the watercolors dries, I ran it again through the folder to pop the flowers a little more. 

The Birthday is from the Versatile greetings-2 die set and 

I finished the card with Crystal clear enamel dots.
